SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Gov. Jerry Brown, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Dianne Feinstein are among Saturday's scheduled speakers at the Democratic State Convention at the San Diego Convention Center.
Brown and Pelosi, D-San Francisco, are scheduled to address the morning convention general session. Feinstein, D-Calif., will speak at lunch, and Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., at dinner. Soul singer Eli "Paperboy" Reed will perform at a concert Saturday night.
The three-day convention will end Sunday when delegates will adopt a platform, make candidate endorsements and take positions on June ballot measures.
