Police search for suspects after man is found beaten

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – A big rig driver is in the hospital after he was tied up and assaulted in Kearny Mesa in what may be a robbery.

The 63-year-old man was beaten at the Kingdom Express trucking yard in the 7600 block of Othello Avenue. He was found around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday by a fellow employee. His arms and legs were bound together, and he also suffered some head injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with critical, but non life-threatening injuries.

San Diego police are looking for any possible suspects.
