Angelique joined the KFMB News 8 team in February of 2012. Originally from sunny San Diego, Angelique is happy to be back in America's Finest City!

Angelique began her journey in broadcast journalism in San Diego as an assignment desk intern at the ABC affiliate. She later interned with the chief editor and senior producer at XETV, where she eventually was hired to work behind the scenes on "Fox in the Morning."

Angelique's first on-air job was at KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona. She then made the move to KVOA-TV in Tucson, Arizona. While in Tucson, Angelique covered the tragic shooting involving Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords back in January 2011. She also covered many stories along the U.S Mexico border.

In May 2007, Angelique graduated from Boston University with a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Previously, she earned her bachelors degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish at the University of San Diego. Go Toreros!

Angelique is fluent in English and Spanish.
