SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The body of an Iraqi woman found beaten to death inside her El Cajon home, will be flown back to Iraq for her funeral.
The 32-year-old woman was taken off life support Saturday. Her 17-year-old daughter, who was home at the time, says the killer left behind a note, calling her mother a terrorist.
A Muslim leader says the woman's father is a Shiite cleric in Iraq and the Iraqi government will pay for her body to be flown back.
Neighbors have left flowers on the mother of five's porch to pay their respects.
El Cajon police are investigating the death as a possible hate crime.
