SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A Carmel Valley woman, accused of killing her four-year-old autistic son, will be in court Tuesday morning for a bail review hearing.

Authorities say Patricia  drowned her son in the bathtub and then drove him to a nearby police station for help. The 36-year-old pleaded not guilty Wednesday, April 4 to murder and assault charges.

Corby flagged down a patrol sergeant driving out of a parking lot at the precinct house about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31 and asked for help with her son, Daniel, who was unconscious and not breathing in her car, according to San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert.

Daniel Corby, who recently turned four, was pronounced dead by medics near a San Diego police substation on El Camino Real in Carmel Valley about 30 minutes later.

If convicted of first degree murder, Corby faces 25-years to life behind bars. She is being held on $10 million bail.
