SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An autistic teenager from Tijuana who disappeared from an East County trolley station turned up unharmed in the same location Wednesday after being missing for more than 18 hours.

Geoffrey Antibagos, 14, vanished after visiting the depot on Amaya Drive in La Mesa about 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to police in San Diego, where he was reported missing.

Authorities put out a bulletin asking the public to keep an eye out for the teen, who was considered at risk due to his cognitive disorder.

Shortly after 10:30 Wednesday morning, the boy returned to the La Mesa transit station in good condition and was picked up by his mother, SDPD Detective Gary Hassen said. It was unclear where the youth had been during his absence, Hassen said.
