SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man and woman standing between two parked cars were injured when someone crashed into one of them, police said Sunday.
The accident in an alley south of the 3800 block of Franklin Avenue was reported about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
The woman, 24, and the man, 33, were taken to a hospital, he said. The woman suffered a leg injury, and the man may have had an ankle broken, he said.
The female driver fled the scene but abandoned the car nearby, Stafford said.
