Gas prices in San Diego County drop to lowest since Feb.

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County decreased Sunday for the 24th time in 25 days, falling two-tenths of a cent to $4.21, its lowest amount since Feb. 23.

The average price is 3.5 cents less than one week ago and 14.4 cents lower than one month ago, but eight-tenths of a cent more than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price decreased for 19 consecutive days, rose one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday, then resumed dropping Wednesday. It has fallen 13.2 cents over the past 25 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Saturday.
