SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Hundreds of people are gathering for a free music festival along Adams Avenue Sunday.

170 live musical acts are taking the stage along a two-mile stretch from Kensington to Normal Heights for Adams Avenue Unplugged.

This is an event for all ages with plenty food, drinks, artists and an open air market.

"All the different venues, the fact that it's free. You gotta love free, come on. So that's been really nice. And we've seen a lot of groups that we would have never seen before. So, it's been real fun," one event-goer said.

The stages close at 7 p.m. Sunday.
