2012 Philip Rivers 5K

A Day of Fun...A Day of Hope...for Children Living in Foster Care

Thank you San Diego!

Thousands of San Diegans joined CBS 8 to support Philip Rivers 5K and the Rivers of Hope Foundation's  mission to raise money and support programs for San Diego's Foster Care children.

"My wife, Tiffany, and I are overwhelmed by all of the support shown by San Diegans," Philip Rivers said. "The turn out today far exceeded our expectations.

We understand that not everyone can adopt a child or donate money. But, everyone can tell someone about these children that need forever homes," he said.
