SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A fight over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in downtown San Diego landed one homeless man in a hospital and another in jail Saturday.
The fight broke out in the 1300 block of Union Street about 6:30 p.m. Friday, and one man stabbed the other in the head with a pen, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and expected to be OK, he said.
The suspect was arrested, Stafford said, but his name and booking information was unavailable early Saturday.
