Donnell and Genesis are all smiles, as they wait for a forever home

Posted: Updated:

They're polite and well-behaved. Siblings Donnell and Genesis are some of the best listeners I've met and mainly because of the love and care they've received from their grandma, who has been raising them. But now it's time now for this smiling sibling set to find a forever home.

At eight and 10 years old, these siblings are a delightful duo. Well adjusted, because unlike many children we feature on Adopt 8, Genesis and Donnell are currently in a stable and loving home. Donnell and Genesis are living with their grandmother right now, who loves them dearly, but medical issues and health concerns are forcing her to find these siblings a forever family that will be there for them, long-term.

These siblings are looking for nice parents to spend time with. In face, Genesis knows what she'd like to do with a family:

"Tell stories, sit by the fire, eat marshmallows, drink coff.. I mean hot chocolate."

Donnell wants the same thing Genesis does. Genesis is the outspoken one, and Donnell is soft-spoken - they make quite a team. And, they are always there for each other – to help with homework or help if the other is hurt.

Honest and endearing, Donnell and Genesis are polite, respectful, and happy go lucky kids who have been raised with love by their grandmother, but who now need a forever family to give them the future they deserve.

Not all children in the foster care system are looking to be adopted. The goal for many of them is reunification with their birth family.
