Ways to Make Quick Cash: Answer questions online

Posted: Updated:

Know someone who's a know-it-all? In this case, being an expert on even just one topic can earn you some quick cash. Here's how know-it-all's can turn their brain power into earning power.

If you're really knowledgeable about a specific subject you can earn money by sharing your expertise online, by answering questions either by text or the web.

You can apply to answer live questions at ChaCha.com, a free texting service that answers user questions through messages. But you have to answer fast. The pay scale can be just pennies per question. Check out the "be a guide" section on the website for details.

If fast texting fingers aren't your forte, you can also answer questions at sites like eHow.com and DemandStudios.com. If approved, you'll be able to choose from a database of subjects to write about. They're made up of questions that people type into Google.

A blogger at MoneySavingMom.com says writing for eHow and Demand Studios is a nice work-from-home opportunity that usually pays her about $15 for articles written on her own time about her own interests.

If you have the time, and the know-how, it could add up to some quick cash in your pocket.

You can follow all of Marcella's reports from her series "Ways to Make Quick Cash" at cbs8.com/yourmoney.
