Photographer shares memories of working with Junior Seau

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A local photographer is sharing his memories of working with Junior Seau.

Essy Ghavameddini documented Seau's career with the San Diego Chargers. He says Seau was great to photograph because of his intensity.

Essy also took photos for the Junior Seau Foundation and says whenever he would run into Seau in public, the football star would always greet him with a hug.

"The lady she said to me, 'Oh, you must be famous because Junior said hello to you.' And I said, 'Nah.' This man is so good. He acknowledged people. He's so good. He was so good and always acknowledged people. He always acknowledged my work and was really, really very good man. I really miss him," Essy said.

Essy will be taking photographs at Friday's public Celebration of Life event at Qualcomm Stadium.
