LEMON GROVE (CNS) - A man was hospitalized in critical condition early Friday after being stabbed in Lemon Grove, authorities said.
A San Diego police officer was flagged down at South Euclid Avenue and Holly Drive in the Lincoln Park area shortly after midnight by the victim's girlfriend who was in the process of driving him to a hospital, San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said.
Sheriff's detectives were called in once police determined the stabbing occurred in the vicinity of Hilltop Drive in Lemon Grove, sheriff's Lt. David Gilmore said.
No other details were immediately released.
