San Diego police Saturday warned people about a white, balding, potbellied, 50-year-old-plus man with a goatee who has tried to lure children near Emerson Elementary School into his red vehicle three times in the past two weeks.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego police have released two composite sketches of the man they say tried to abduct children near Emerson Elementary School in Mountain View.

Over the past few weeks, four girls have reported being followed home by a man who attempted to lure them into his car. They ran away, but in one case, the man followed a girl to her yard.

The suspect is described as hispanic, in his 50's with short salt and pepper hair, a white beard and a mustache. He's been seen driving a shiny red car, possibly a Mercedes 4-door with tinted rear windows and damage on the right front side.

Anyone with information should call police.
