San Diego 3-Day training kick off in Cardiff

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diegans woke up bright and early Saturday to begin their training for the Susan G. Komen San Diego 3-Day.  

Saturday's 3-Day expo kickoff took place at the New Balance store in Cardiff.    

News 8's Barbara Lee Edwards and Matt Baylow were on-hand to greet the walkers and get them motivated for the 3-Day, which raises money for breast cancer research.

"I am ready.  I'm more than ready.  I can't believe how excited I am.  And we've just begun.  So I'm looking forward to November." 3-Day walker, Laurie Ferullo said.
