Fire training exercises start Monday in Oceanside

OCEANSIDE (CNS) - Starting Monday, small training fires will be set near Oceanside Municipal Airport, fire officials said.

The fires will be set in a vacant lot adjacent to the airport, in the area of Highway 76 and Foussat Road, according to a statement from the Oceanside Fire Department.

Training is expected to last through July 25, the statement said.
