SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 25-year-old man is under arrest for allegedly charging a group of minors nearly $900 to drink alcohol at a party in his employer's San Marcos warehouse, a sheriff's sergeant said.

Eduardo Hidalgo was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of violating the social host ordinance in San Marcos after deputies found he allegedly used a 8,000 square foot warehouse, owned by his employer Hirsch Piping Supply to host the party, according to sheriff's Sgt. Matt Blumenthal.

Hidalgo allegedly charged minors an entrance fee at the door and inside were three kegs of beer, along with a large quantity of beer and liquor containers and tables set up for "beer pong," Blumenthal said.

Sheriff's personnel seized $886, believed to be proceeds from the party, Blumenthal said.

Hidalgo was arrested and later booked into the Vista Detention Facility, Blumenthal said.
