SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A gas station clerk was threatened with knife as two robbers made off with some beer in San Diego's Cortez neighborhood early Friday, police said.

The robbery at the Chevron gas station at 1666 First Ave. was reported at 2:02 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford. No one was hurt, he said.

Police described the thieves as two men in their mid to late 20s. One was black and wore a black hoodie and jeans, Delimitros said. The other was a roughly 5-foot-10 Hispanic who wore a Padres jersey and jeans.

The blade of the knife used to threaten the clerk was six or seven inches long, police said.
