VISTA (CNS) - A water main break flooded some homes in Vista early Friday, authorities said.
The break occurred in the 3000 block of Ora Avo Terrace around 2 a.m., according to San Diego County sheriff's Lt. Karen Stubkjaer.
There were no road closures in the area as of 5 a.m., though crews were still working to repair the break, the lieutenant said.
A few homes were flooded and that two dozen other homes were without water service.
No other details were immediately reported.
