Search team finds perfect way to teach kids safety

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - About 1,500 elementary school-aged children spent the morning learning about the hard work of the sheriff's search and rescue team.

Kids were able to interact with the SAR team's K-9, mounted and medical units. They also got an inside look at the sheriff's ASTREA helicopter.
