SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An argument between a 51-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man in a driveway turned violent early Tuesday when the man pulled out a handgun and shot the woman in her leg and hand before fleeing on a bicycle, San Diego police said.
The shooting in the 4000 block of 38th Street in the City Heights area was reported at 12:08 a.m., according to SDPD Officer Dino Delimitros.
The woman's wounds were not believed to be life-threatening, Delimitros said in a statement.
The nature of the argument between the man and woman, and their relationship, if any, was not immediately clear.
Police described the man as Hispanic, around 5 feet 6, 200 pounds and bald, with a tattoo on his head. He was last seen wearing a brown hat and black jacket, Delimitros said.
