SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County Wednesday recorded its largest daily increase since May 13 and its highest amount since June 21, rising 1.7 cents to $3.892.
The average price has increased 24 times in 27 days and is 6.4 cents more than one week ago, 20.2 cents greater than one month ago and 10.7 cents above what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has increased 21.6 cents over the past 27 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
