Police searching for home invasion suspect in Bankers Hill

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man crawled through an open window into a Bankers Hill apartment early Monday, exposed himself to a woman who had been sleeping, grabbed her wrist but then ran away, apparently chased off by her screams, police said.

Police were called to the apartment in the 2600 block of First Ave. just before 4 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher, who said the woman was not hurt.

Police described the intruder as white, in his 30s, around 5 feet 7, with a stocky build and blond hair. He wore glasses, a white T-shirt and dark shorts, police said.
