SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The heatwave keeps going on and on across San Diego, and the high temperatures are putting people and pets in danger.

The county has put out an alert for pet owners.

In this News 8 video report, Shannon Handy reports from the dog park at Balboa Park, where one owner was caught leaving a pet in the hot seat.
