SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An SDSU student was robbed at gunpoint in front of a large apartment complex.
The robbery happened just before 2:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Collwood Boulevard.
A student was talking on the phone when he was robbed by two black males, one with a gun.
"This place is not safe. It's a time period of two weeks or something not even, two of us were robbed at gunpoint," said SDSU student Emre Guecuekoglu.
San Diego police say this is the second robbery at this complex and that they usually see a spike in crimes against students during back to school time.
The victim was not hurt.
A cell phone, pocket change and cigarettes were stolen.
