MIRA MESA (CBS 8) - UPS workers in Mira Mesa have become sick from a strange odor Friday morning.
It happened at the UPS facility on Camino Santa Fe. Paramedics and hazmat rushed to the scene.
"Today we had three workers who were unloading a truck and who were all overcome by fumes. They began to feel tightness in their chest, nausea and vomiting and things of that nature," said Battalion Chief Rick Ballard San Diego Fire-Rescue. "They were all transported to the hospital at this point."
As of this report, there is no word on the condition of the victims or what caused them to get sick.
