SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - New revelations are coming forth Thursday, involving a man accused of killing his family inside their Paradise Hills home.
Is he connected to other murders in the county? A veteran police officer says 55-year old Clarence Blunt was once a person of interest in two murders over a decade ago.
Lilly blunt and her two children were found dead inside their home. Fifty-five-year old Blunt was found at the home with what appeared to be self-inflicted wounds.
According to the Union-Tribune, National City Police are re-examining two murder cases from 1974 and 1989 where blunt was considered a suspect. He wasn't arrested in those cases, but has served time for crimes including a murder committed when he was 17-years-old.
News 8's Angelique Lizarde files this video report from Paradise Hills with the new information.
