SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Motorists on roadways near the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Friday night may see smoke and flames from scheduled fire training, base officials said.

The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting unit is scheduled to conduct training fires on the base's airfield from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to Miramar's public affairs office.

No visibility restrictions are expected, but smoke and flames could be visible from nearby roadways, base officials said.
