SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A memorial fund has been set up for the victims of a deadly crash that left two young girls hospitalized, and their mother and two sisters dead.
On Tuesday, Mary Helen Aguilar and her daughters, 8-year-old Camryn and 9-year-old Jennifer, died after a car slammed into their minivan on state route 78 near Santa Ysabel.
One of the girls, 13-year-old Irene is recovering from broken bones, while 6-year-old Audry suffered a major spinal injury.
But after undergoing surgery, doctors say she may be able to walk.
Audry's father tells News 8 about a frightening moment after the operation.
