Police seek suspect in girlfriend stabbing

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man is being sought by police Sunday in connection with a stabbing on Saturday.

"A 43-year-old woman was stabbed in the middle of her back by her boyfriend during an argument about 9 a.m. on Imperial Avenue near 14th Street in the East Village," San Diego Police said.

Police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Eric Nunez, who fled and remains at-large.

The woman was transported to a hospital with two minor stab wounds.

Central Division is investigating the incident.
