Video shows attempted robbery suspects at SDSU

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - San Diego State campus police have released video of three men they say tried to rob a man at the Love Library last week.

The men were seen entering the building at about 3:45 p.m. last Tuesday. Police say they approached a man from behind in a bathroom, punched him in the back of the head and demanded his cell phone.

The victim, who suffered minor injuies, didn't have a phone, and ran away.

All three suspects are described as black males between 18 and 23 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call SDSU campus police or San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
