SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Dozens of people marched in front of San Diego police headquarters Friday demanding justice in the death of a man who was fatally shot by an officer.
Family and friends organized Friday's protest in downtown.
They say they want the officer who shot and killed 31-year-old Victor Ortega to be held accountable.
Back in June, Ortega was shot after he allegedly reached for the officer's gun during a struggle at the end of a foot chase in Mira Mesa.
The victim's family says they want answers. Protesters say they plan on marching in front of police headquarters every other Friday.
The district attorney's office is reviewing the case.
