Poway teen hurt in crash out of coma

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An update Saturday on a teenager who was seriously injured in a car crash in Poway.

Back on September 5, teenage brothers Mikey and Matthew Bryant were hurt after their car veered into oncoming traffic along Twin Peaks Rd. in Poway.

15-year-old Matthew was placed in a medically-induced coma.

Earlier Friday, 17-year-old Mikey posted on his Facebook page that his brother is now awake. That triggered a wave of relief and support from family and friends.
