SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Some conservationists are worried about the future of the great white shark and are pushing for more protection for them.

Although they are somewhat protected now, a proposal has been made to put the great white shark on the endangered species list.

In this News 8 video report, Shawn Styles takes a look at the numbers and what the loss of the species could do to the environment.
