Gas station robbed at gunpoint near Grantville

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A Grantville-area gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Friday, San Diego police said.

The robber pulled a handgun and demanded cash from an employee at USA Gas Stop at 6404 Mission Gorge Rd. shortly before 2:30 a.m., San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said.

The robber ran off with an undisclosed amount, Delimitros said. He was last seen heading north on Mission Gorge Road.

Police described the robber as white, 5 feet 7, in his 20s, with a military-style haircut. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
