SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A preliminary hearing is underway for a man charged with causing a deadly hit and run crash on Interstate 805.
Prosecutors say 28-year-old Pedro Sainz was drunk when he lost control of his car in June and slammed into another car. A couple from Las Vegas was killed, and two other people were hurt.
Sainz was arrested two days later after witnesses say he ran from the scene.
A judge will decide if Sainz will stand trial for manslaughter and other charges.
