SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - In Kearny Mesa Saturday, San Diego firefighters took advantage of some Hollywood magic to train for real-life emergencies and rescues.

"Strategic Operations" on the lot of "Stu Segall Productions" gave firefighters a chance to test their skills during a simulated rescue of victims from a rollover crash.

Firefighters say what they learned was invaluable.

"Stu Segall's Strategic Operations" trains military and law enforcement agencies responsible for homeland security.
