SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Lance Armstrong wins the 34th SuperFrog Triathlon held at the Silver Strand.

It took Lance 3 hours, 49 minutes and 45 seconds to finish the 1.2 mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and the 13.1 mile run.

He says the weather was a major challenge.

Despite his recent lifetime ban by U.S.A.D.A., Armstrong was able to compete in the event because it was nonsanctioned and not subject to U.S.A.D.A. rules.
