SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A homeless woman was in custody Friday on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend several times during a drunken brawl in a vacant lot in Clairemont Mesa, police said.
The stabbing in the 5400 block of Balboa Ave. was reported at 8:44 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.
The woman stabbed him three times with a knife, Delimitros said in a statement, adding that the wounds were not life-threatening.
Officers arrested the woman nearby a short time later, he said, adding that the victim also is homeless.
