MIRAMAR RANCH (CNS) - Police Saturday sought two men who unsuccessfully attempted to break into a Chase Bank ATM in Miramar Ranch North.
San Diego Police Officer Frank Cali said the incident occurred at 10541 Scripps Poway Parkway, east of Interstate 15, at 3:45 a.m. Friday.
A surveillance video showed the suspects drove up to the ATM, got out and attempted to break into it, Cali said.
"The suspects were unable to get any cash," he said.
One suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, red gloves and a white mask. The other suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, red gloves and a white mask.
The suspect's vehicle was described as a white Econoline van with blue lettering and numbers on the side. No license plate was identified.
Northeastern Division officers were investigating.
