SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two Southern California surfers with a passion for protecting the ocean are taking a two-week high seas adventure.

The project is called "Riding Currents - The Last Straw." In this Environmental Alert video report, Jeff Zevely goes along to show us how we can all do our part to keep plastic out of the ocean.
