SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Coronado Playhouse's newest musical "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" is teaming up with Meals-on-Wheels for a good cause.
They are launching a Fan Drive in honor of their famous opening song "20 fans were turning."
"We thought it would be a great idea to get involved in the community," said Thomas Fitzpatrick, the Director of the musical. "We decided to have people come in and donate fans for the seniors in need."
The fans will be distributed as part of the organization's holiday We Care Package for our community's senior citizens in need.
You can donate new or gently used electric fans or small air conditioners throughout the run of the show, which is October 26 through December 2.
