(CBS 8) - A brave bomb-sniffing Army dog has been posthumously awarded Britain's highest award for animal bravery.
For five months, Theo, a springer spaniel mix and his handler Royal Army soldier Liam Tasker worked together, uncovering a huge amount of roadside bombs in Afghanistan and saving countless lives.
Back in March, Tasker was killed in a firefight with insurgents. Theo died a few hours later after suffering a seizure. Tasker's family believes Theo really died of a broken heart.
One thing's for sure -- they're both heroes.
