SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – A SigAlert was issued for Northbound Interstate 15 at Scripps Poway Parkway early Thursday morning, after a crash involving approximately six vehicles.
Two tow trucks were on the scene as were crews cleaning up a fuel spill caused by the accident. Medics attended to two reported injuries, according to Chopper 8 live reports.
A car collided with a stalled vehicle in
the fast lane at about 5 a.m., backing up northbound
traffic for miles to Pomerado Road.
Traffic was stop and go on Northbound I-15 from Carroll Canyon Road to Scripps Poway Parkway at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday, while the accident scene was in the mop up stage.
The lanes were were cleared by about 7:30 a.m.
