SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego police Sunday sought whoever shot a 35-year-old man outside a house where a birthday party was taking place in the Encanto neighborhood.
The man was in a driveway at 6319 Broadway when he was shot once in the chest shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, Officer Dino Delimitros said.
The revelers heard the shot, and a partygoer drove the victim to a hospital. Delimitros said his wound was not life-threatening.
A description of the shooter was unavailable.
Gang detectives were called to investigate, Delimitros said.
