SAN DIEGO (AP) — Authorities say they found a marijuana farm while fighting a half-million-dollar blaze in a San Diego industrial area.
U-T San Diego says the fire erupted Sunday evening in the Point Loma area and damaged an auto body shop, a machine shop, an office building and a storage facility that contained holiday decorations for SeaWorld. Most of the damage was to the auto shop.
Firefighters doused the fire in about 20 minutes and no injuries were reported.
A fire official says firefighters found an extensive marijuana production facility in the office building next to where the fire may have started. Investigators suspect an electrical problem sparked the blaze.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Firefighters knocked down a blaze that broke out in a two-story commercial building Sunday.
The building erupted in flames shortly after 5 p.m. on the 3500 block of Hancock St. in the Sports Arena area.
Dozens of firefighter's attacked the blaze and once inside, they found a complex marijuana growing facility.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
