SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is under arrest Tuesday after a SWAT standoff in Lakeside.

Police say the standoff is part of an investigation into a statewide marijuana growing operation.

Authorities arrived at a residence in the 10300 block of Vista Camino Drive Tuesday morning and cleared the home of its residents.

Several search warrants were also being served at 10 other locations within California alleged to be part of a "large-scale outdoor marijuana cultivation organization," as one official said.

Taken into custody was John Philip Lombardo, 57. Officials would not say what charges he faces.
