Carlsbad's trashy election to pick new cans

CARLSBAD (CBS 8) - The election is over, but people in Carlsbad Village are being asked to vote on something else.

The city has installed six different trash cans along State Street in a sort of trash can beauty contest. The winning design will be used throughout the village.
